Dr. Robert Barasa Nyakoe is a distinguished Specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologist and a Maternal and Fetal Medicine subspecialist. With qualifications from prestigious institutions, including the University of Nairobi and the University of the Witwatersrand, Dr. Nyakoe has dedicated his career to the health of mothers and their babies. He leads the Maternal and Fetal Medicine Unit at Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital, focusing on high-risk pregnancies and fetal care. Dr. Nyakoe‘s approach to patient care is empathetic and patient-centered, emphasising informed decision-making and multidisciplinary care. He is fluent in English and Swahili and enjoys reading and travelling in his leisure time.
